Minervino "Minner" Labrador Jr.
Pastor Minervino “Minner” Labrador has been married 25 years and has two sons. He began his work with Men’s Ministries in Clearwater, Florida when he noticed the needs of men were not being addressed on Christian media. He began, “Divine Direction,” a call in radio program in Tampa Bay, Florida while also serving as Florida Conference Men’s Ministries Director. Minner is currently Carolina Conference Men’s Ministries Director and senior pastor of the Charlotte, Sharon Seventh-day Adventist Church. In 2009 Minner recorded a television series which addresses the needs of men. Some of the topics include being single, male identity, marriage, sexual integrity, parenting, finances, mid-life, investments, etc. This television program has been seen around the world.
In April 2011 a new series of “Old Man New Man” began airing on Hope Television and local Charlotte, North Carolina stations. Media and Evangelism are his passion and he is also gifted in administration. Churches where Pastor Labrador has ministered have caught the fire of the Holy Spirit and have grown both numerically and spiritually. Many long time members have expressed a great spiritual awakening under his leadership. He believes Men’s Ministries directly impacts the lives of the women and children affecting church health and growth. God has given Pastor Labrador a heart of wisdom and an ability to communicate the will of God in the most practical way, using personal and illustrative stories that help those in his seminars grasp God’s will for their marriages and relationships. Today, he is a sought after speaker for conventions and seminars. He is a graduate of Southern Adventist University, Andrews University and is pursuing his doctoral degree at Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary on Redemptive Leadership.
